Cheaper Pressure Gauges Cost More: Why I Order WIKA 111.10 and WIKA 4-20 mA Transmitters

I manage MRO purchasing for a 400-person plant. Pressure gauges, transmitters, voltage testers, and every other small-but-critical item cross my desk. But for a workhorse pressure gauge and a simple 4-20mA loop, WIKA's consistency and documentation give us a lower total cost.

My stance after six years of buying pressure gauges: value isn't the lowest quote. Value is a gauge you can trust at 2 a.m. When the reading is steady, the process is safe, and my phone stays quiet, that's the best price I can pay.
